Lesieli's story

Lesieli, 32, struggles with her husband trying to raise their seven children. Her husband's occupation is a farmer, but what he earns from it is not enough for the family.

Lesieli requested a loan of TOP 2,750 and planned to start a business of tapa making to help them make a living and satisfy all their needs. She used her loan to buy some mulberries and other materials for the business. She started her business, but sometimes she faces challenges of not enough mulberries to supply her business.

Lesieli is looking forward to earning some more income form her productivity and beautiful ngatu that she makes and sells out in the market. He business is run at her home; she's self employed, but sometimes she temporary joins a group of women in their village to make tapa.

She can't wait to achieve her dream for her business in order to educate her children for a better future.
