Aguas Claras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase vicuna wool.

Aguas Claras Group's story

The communal bank Aguas Claras [Clear Waters] will begin the first cycle in Pro Mujer as part of the Focal Senkata Community Center. It is made up of nine members and is run by a board of directors, of which Feliza is the president.

The loan that they will receive will benefit small businesswomen, and Feliza is one of them. She currently has a business of selling blankets. She says that she learned this business through her own initiative several years ago. Her friend is the one who taught her to weave the blankets.

The loan that she will now receive will be an increase of capital for the purchase of vicuna wool and threads, which she will acquire from the wholesalers in the 16 de Julio area of the city of La Paz. She will then make sales at her retail space. This type of work allows her to generate resources to support her family financially since she is married and has two children.
