Kayimbaya Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fruits at wholesale to sell.

Kayimbaya Group's story

The Kayimbaya community association will begin its sixth cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Villa Tejada Regional Hub. The group is comprised of nine members and led by a board of directors where Sofia is the president.

The loan they will take out will go to small businesses where Sofia is a member. Currently she has a business selling fruit. She says that she learned this business from her mother three years ago. The loan she will take out now will increase her capital to buy fruits at wholesale that she will obtain from wholesalers in La Paz. Later on she will sell them at her sales site. This type of work allows her to generate resources to financially support her family as she is married and has three children.
