Armik's story

Armik is 64 years old and she lives with her single daughter in the frontier village Getahovit of Tavush region. Armik has higher pedagogical education and has already worked 43 years at the village school as a teacher of biology.

The main source of income for her family is farming, which is a cute one and Armik would like to develop it. She has a pig, piglets and a lot of chickens on her farm. On her plot of land she also cultivates and sells potatoes, beans, cucumbers, tomatoes and greens. Right from her farm she also sells meat and eggs. Armik greatly wants to receive this Kiva loan as she wants to buy more piglets for her farm and develop her swine breeding and also buy a lot of fodder for all her farm cattle.
