Miniyokuthaba's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to increase the size and range of her stock, thus boosting her business.

Miniyokuthaba's story

Miniyokuthaba is a 22-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her parents and siblings in the Nkayi District in Zimbabwe. She runs a flea market stall where she sells new and second-hand clothes.

Miniyokuthaba is requesting a Kiva loan in order to boost her business by increasing the size and range of her stock. She plans to use her profits to further her education and to improve the welfare of her family.

Miniyokuthaba will repay the ‘social interest’ on her loan by volunteering two-and-a-half hours per week as a Camfed Transition Guide. She will be supporting other young women who are entering Camfed’s alumnae organization, CAMA, by leading weekly orientation sessions on various topics including health and financial literacy, and by providing career guidance.
