I grew up in Puebla, Mexico one of the most industrialized, prestigious and influential states in Mexico. I studied my bachelors and my masters at the University of Las Americas-Puebla. Thanks to my high level of academic achievement and my athletic abilities, I won a national scholarship to study at this prestigious university. My parents were very successful business owners who had established a reputation for themselves in the textile industry in our city. We grew up in extreme poverty with constant trauma and danger, however, I learned that constant hard work and excellent service will help you reach your business goals. It was thanks to this mindset that my parents were able to support my brother and me. We moved to California 15 years ago, a year after we moved I separated from my ex-husband for domestic violence. But I didn't let that stop me, I kept working to continue to support my two girls and my ill mother. A few years after my separation, I lost my job, I lost my mother and I nearly lost the home I had worked so hard for. I had no option than to have faith and continue on with the values my parents taught me; constant hard work and dedication. I have always earned my way through life with hard work and perseverance. Today, my small home business has turned into a growing and established business. My oldest daughter is finishing her masters at SCU and the youngest is getting excellent grades as a freshman in high school. I not only want to grow my business and establish an excellent language institute for all but I also want to make an impact in my community by supporting individuals with employment and exposing my community to my culture.
