Gilberth's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to maintain his coffee crop.

Gilberth's story

Gilberth is 44 years old, is in a common-law marriage, and lives with his wife, who is his main priority. He is a coffee grower, which is work he learned from his father and by helping neighbors when he was young.

Over time, he saw coffee growing as a way to go forward, and he started his own business. Now, he has been dedicated to growing his own coffee for 10 years.

With his loan, he plans to buy supplies to maintain his coffee plantation, including manure and crop spraying. With this, he plans to maintain his crop and ensure a good harvest this year, with the goal of increasing his income, being able to give a better life to his wife, and achieving better production for his farm.

This is his first loan from FUDECOSUR. He could not get loans from state banks, but FUDECOSUR has offered him a loan more easily and with much lower interest rates.
