Emmy's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay tuition fees for her children who are reporting to school this month.

Emmy's story

Emmy is a go-getter smallholder farmer from the Bomet area of Kenya, which is an abundant maize-producing region in the Rift valley province of Kenya. She is very passionate, hard working, and eager to learn and accept new challenges. These qualities have propelled her to become one of the most respected farmers in her village. She sells milk, bananas, poultry, maize, and vegetables produced on her farm.

Of all the activities in which Emmy is involved, dairy farming is closest to her heart. She enjoys waking up every morning to go and milk her cows and feed them with fodder that has high nutrient value. She is so keen and close with her cows that she has named them, which makes Emmy very proud and fulfilled.

Emmy is seeking an education loan to pay school fees for her children. She believes that the knowledge and skills her children will get from school will help them have a brighter future.
