Birmania Del Carmen's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy construction materials such as rock, blocks, ceramic, and roofing to build a bathroom.

Birmania Del Carmen's story

Birmania is 35 years old and has three children. She makes a living in several businesses. She is a stylist, she sells food, and she attends to a small grocery store in her home.

Birmania has always been worried about providing her children a better quality of life. This is why she came to MiCrédito previously to request a Kiva loan to make improvements in her bathroom. This was of much assistance to her and her family, since they now have a little sanitation in their home.

She is very grateful for the support received from both organizations. She is again knocking on the doors of Kiva and MiCrédito with the hope of receiving another sanitation loan to finish covering her bathroom. With the loan, she is thinking of investing in the purchase of construction materials such as rock, blocks, ceramic, and roofing to build her bathroom, since the one she has is made of black plastic and does not provide the security needed for her or her family.

She hopes to continue improving the infrastructure of her home for the well-being of the whole family.
