Mairamkan's story

Mairamkan is 55 years old, married and has three children. She has vocational education and works as a nurse at a medical center. As an additional income for her family, she has worked with livestock breeding and field crop cultivation since 1993.

Thanks to Mairamkan's persistent work, her farm currently has seven cows and 20 sheep. She also has a plot of land of 4.8 hectares, on which she grows potatoes, barley and alfalfa.

With an aim to further develop her business, Mairamkan turned to the bank "Bai Tushum" for a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) to purchase sheep to increase her herd. The income from the loan helps Mairamkan save money for building a new house.
