Usikilivu Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 20 strings of jewelry, bracelets, bands, small chains, rings, etc... to meet the needs of her fans.

Usikilivu Group's story

Madam Sarah is a courageous, 51 year old senior business woman who takes innovative initiatives. She is a widow and the mother of 4 children who are all in school, plus other children who are already married. She is the most senior member of the group.

Madam Sarah sells jewelry collections at the central market of Virunga. She sometimes visits her friends to persuade them to buy her jewelry. She mostly sells to women, especially during the month of March, the so-called "women's month", as well as during festivals. This client started her business with the financial support of her husband. Her husband passed away more than 10 years ago.

With this new loan, she will buy 20 strings of jewelry, silver bracelets, zinc bands, small gold chains, gold rings, wooden bracelets, etc. to meet the demands of her fans. She plans to build a house for her family and she wishes to see all her children complete university studies. She thanks Hekima and its partners for the support they offer to micro-entrepreneurs who cannot access bank loans. Thanks to Hekima's loans, she can take care of her fatherless children.
