Regina's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy a quality breed of dairy cow so that she can meet the demand for milk in her area and use the profits to support her children.

Regina's story

Regina is just 42 years old and lives in the Siongiroi area of Kenya. She has three children whom she loves very much. Life hasn’t been easy for this young mother, but she’s a fighter who is committed to giving a good future to her children. Seven years ago she started farming and she also has a small shop where this picture was taken.

Regina is the proud owner of a small parcel of land on which she has been practicing mixed farming. Her primary sources of income are selling eggs and milk, and through this venture she has earned a decent income.

Regina passionately loves dairy farming, and taking care of her cows gives her great joy. Although this humble mum has been making profits by selling milk to her neighbors and the local market, she is faced with the challenge of meeting the demand. Regina is seeking a loan to buy a quality dairy cow that will produce milk that is high in nutrients and will be able to satisfy the demand. With the loan capital, she will buy a dairy cow that will produce between 10 and 20 liters of milk a day. This will help to fully satisfy the demand.

She dreams of buying a house where her family can have an amazing life. Support this young mother and talented smallholder farmer, and loan now.
