A loan helped to buy feed for his quail.

Mario's story

Mario is a 52-year-old businessman from Jaen, Nueva Ecija. He is happily married to Marites, a fruit and vegetable dealer, and blessed with four children. He has been engaged in a poultry business selling quail eggs. After the quail lay eggs, they manufacture them and send them into different markets nearest to their town.

Mario has been a reliable client of Alalay sa Kaunlaran (ASKI) Inc. for about five years. He has been entrusted with a loan of 60,000 PHP under ASKI's agricultural loan program. His loan proceeds will be used to buy feed for the quail so that they can easily lay eggs. He believes that with the help of ASKI, he can provide employment to his local area.
