A loan helped to buy shoes and chickens for resale.

Astou's Group's story

This group is made up of 23 women who have created the banc villageois "Jappo Liggey", which was inaugurated in March 2018. They live in the same neighborhood and are very fond of each other. They are mainly employed in commerce.

Madam Alé Ngouye is 52 years old. She is the representative of the group, and can be found to the right of the photograph with her hand raised. She is married and the mother of three children, two boys and one girl.

She has a business selling shoes and at the same time works in aviculture (raising poultry). Madam Alé Ngouye plans to use this loan to buy 30 pairs of shoes, 1 pair of chickens (Holland Blues), and some chicken feed. The proceeds from her sales will go towards expanding her businesses.
