Gulmira's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy four dairy cows to increase her cattle headcount and sales of organic milk.

Gulmira's story

Gulmira is 42 years old, married and has two children. Gulmira has a college degree. As a main source of income for her family, she has been raising livestock and growing produce since 1994. Thanks to Gulmira’s hard work and the help of her husband on the farm, at present she has two cows, 40 sheep and seven horses, as well as a field of 1.5 ha [3.7 acres], where she grows beans.

Gulmira has a contract for supplying organic milk to a local factory to be used for making dairy products. This allows Gulmira to continuously invest in her agricultural business. Having learned that there is a possibility of obtaining a loan in the Bank Tushum bank with her contract for future milk delivery as a security, within the framework of the Added Value Chain offer, Gulmira has applied for a loan in the amount of 200,000 soms KGS to buy four dairy cows to increase her milk sales volume.

Payments from milk sales will be credited by the factory directly to Gulmira’s bank account, and payments for her loan will be automatically debited. Gulmira plans to use the revenues from her loan to further increase her sheep headcount, to build a sheep shed and, in the future, to pay for her grandchildren’s education.
