Kodel's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped buy three 50kg bags of hibiscus, four 50kg bags of baobab fruit, sugar, and other ingredients.

Kodel's Group's story

This five-member group belongs to a banc villageois that was founded in December 2010. It brings together women from the same neighborhood who have a good rapport. Their main activity is small business.

Madame Kodel (standing at the right of the photo with her hand raised) is the group representative. She is married and the mother of nine children. She makes fruit juices and ice cream.

With this loan, she will buy three 50 kg bags of hibiscus, four 50 kg bags of baobab fruit, sugar, and other ingredients for juice. She will also pay her electricity bill, which is 30,000 FCFA each month.

The income she makes will allow her to work on livestock fattening and pay for medical care for her spouse who is ill.
