Aissatou's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy one 50kg bag of baobab fruit, one 50kg bag of sugar, 15kg of "bissap" (dried hibiscus flowers) and other ingredients needed for her juice.

Aissatou's Group's story

The "banc villageois" which this group of 24 belongs to was set up in December 2014. It is made up of a group of women from the village who have adhered to the program so as to make the small business activities more profitable. A good atmosphere livens up the group meetings.

Aissatou, (standing on the far right with her hand raised), is the representative of the group. She is 32 years old. She is divorced and the mother of three children.

She is active selling fruit juice and ice cream. With this loan, she plans to buy one 50kg bag of baobab fruit, one 50kg bag of sugar, 15kg of "bissap" (dried hibiscus flowers) and other ingredients needed for her juice, which she retails from home in 1 liter bottles and half liters.

With the profits she plans to build up her savings.
