Labiba's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy new home furnishings in order to improve her standard of living.

Labiba's story

Working women are found to have improvised self-esteem and emotional health due to their multiple roles in everyday lives. Centuries ago, women were considered naturally feeble compared to men and were not allowed to perform an arduous task that required heavy labor.

People in the past had the mindset that women were only restricted to taking care of domestic house chores, playing their part as obedient housewives, and caring for their children. Now things are different, as women are able to prove themselves by working many jobs and achieving the successes they have always dreamed of.

Labiba is one of these ladies who want to rely on herself and be a productive person.

She is a 48-year-old Palestinian married woman, who has worked as an employee in a school since 2004. In order to increase the level of her profits, she established her beauty salon 18 years ago at home.

For the first time, Labiba is asking for a loan from IBDAA, a Kiva partner. She requested this loan to purchase new home furnishings in order to improve her standard of living. In addition, she will allocate a small portion of it to buy a tattoo machine to support her beauty salon.

Labiba says life would be so different if she just choses success. Labiba needs your support to improve her financial and social level.
