Walter Q. P. is 26 years old, single and lives in his parents' home. His mother makes a living at a dairy, and he had to give up school so he could help her with her work. He started out working as a taxi driver for another person and later he saved enough to purchase his own vehicle. He now drives his own car as a taxi throughout the entire city of Cochabamba. He is requesting the loan to purchase natural gas equipment to install in his car so he can lower his fuel costs, which are the main expenses of his work. He could save 50 percent off his gas costs and that would help him a lot in earning better profits.
