Augusto's story

Augusto is 23 years old and single. His business is farming. He does his work in the Punata rural area, which has colorful landscapes and is situated on a green blanket of vegetation surrounded by colorful fields.

Augusto lives in the family house. They have 10 hectares of land there and two belong to Augusto. The rest belong to his family, who gave him the land so that he can work and become independent. He works growing potatoes, corn, wheat, beans, and peas. He has quarterly income, depending on the growing cycles. All of his work is manual, and he does it with tools such as a backpack fumigator, a plow, shovels, and picks. To ensure the production, he has a sprinkler irrigation system and collects rainwater with reservoirs.

It is the planting season, and he needs to start working. His advantage is that he sells a variety of products according to the growing season. The problem is a lack of fertilizer and seed. His dream is to produce a greater quantity. He wants to purchase organic fertilizer and potato seeds.

With this loan, he will purchase organic fertilizer and potato seeds to begin planting. This is the second loan he is receiving from the institution in the six years he has been operating this business. For these reasons, Augusto is requesting a loan to purchase organic fertilizer and potato seeds to begin planting and ensure the next harvest.
