A loan helped To buy kilos of fish.
Clarita and her family live in the village of Vista Alegre, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya. She is married to Aguilar and they are blessed with four children. They are all studying in tertiary and secondary education. Despite the hardships and difficulties in life, she and her husband are striving hard to earn a living and to provide them with their educational needs. The common source of their income is farming. Her husband cultivates their farm by planting rice and vegetables. Clarita is engaged in a fish-vending business in their village to help her husband in providing the needs of their family. With a small amount of capital at hand, she purchases her products at the Bayombong public market and then sells them in their village. She can earn a weekly income of $15. Since her business is profitable, she wants to acquire more products so that she can have a bigger income. She is now asking for financial assistance from the Kiva lenders amounting to PHP13,000. This will be used to buy additional kilos of fish that she can sell in their village.
