Gloria Manela's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fertilizers and compost.

Gloria Manela's story

Gloria lives in the city of Santa Cruz de Yojoa together with her children. She is a native of the department of Comayagua. Gloria and her husband Oscar are both teachers and they also have worked cultivating "malanga" [a tuber resembling a sweet potato] for many years. Thus, they have extensive experience in the growing and harvest of this crop.

Gloria is a hard-working and responsible person who, through her own efforts, has achieved all of her goals, Since she was a child she has worked in the fields, and aside from her farming, she also works at an Institute in the city.

She is requesting this loan to buy supplies, such as fertilizers and compost, for the malanga. She does not have the capital to do it, and it is the only way to have an excellent harvest.

Gloria's dream is to be able to provide her children with a decent education so that they can have a better quality of life.
