Hostansia's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to pay for clearing, tilling and buying yam and cocoyam seeds.

Hostansia's story

She is single with five children. They live in a five-bedroom apartment in Bamenda, North West Region of Cameroon. She has been a victim of a car accident, which almost cost her her life if not for the mercy of God, poverty ill health and the death of loved ones.

She joined GHAPE in 2010 and has taken and successfully repaid four loans.

With the new loan requested, she plans to buy more yam and cocoyam seeds for her farm and also pay for the clearing and tilling. She has a positive attitude that the activity will succeed because she already has a mastery of these activities and there is an ever ready demand for her proceeds. Her activity will help the community since she will provide good and healthy commodities for consumption.

With the profit to be gotten from the loan, she will plough back some into her activity, pay children’s school fees, and provide basic necessities for the family.

She prefers getting a loan from GHAPE because the repayment schedule is moderate, interest rates are low, she gets business knowledge before receiving loans and no collateral is required.
