The "Banc Villageois" which includes this group of four women was created in March 2001. The women's main business is selling various products. Madam Habibatou, who is on the right side of the picture with her hand up, is the group's representative. She is 41 years old, married and has seven children, including six girls. She has been selling meat chickens for several years. With her new loan, she plans on buying 150 chicks, one 20 kg bag of starter feed, 2 bags of growth feed and 2 bags of finishing feed. She will resells the chickens from her home. Her profits will go to helping her husband with daily expenses and paying for her children's health and schooling bills.
