A loan helped to buy one cow and two sheep.

Ndoulo Group's story

This five-member group is part of the "banc villageois" created in December 2008. It includes women who maintain good relationships and who are involved mainly in sales and raising animals.

Amy, standing to the right in the photo with her hand raised, is the featured borrower. She is 34 years old, married and the mother of six children, including five boys.

Amy has been raising animals for years and has a lot of experience in this field. She plans to use her new loan to buy one cow and two sheep that she will fatten and resell after five months. She expects to use the income she earns to renovate her house and save at the banc villageois.
