Yuku's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more red oil, cold water, and charcoal.

Yuku's story

Meet 47-year-old Yuku. She is married with three children. The ages of her children are 13 through 27. All of her children are in school while living at home.

She runs a business which sells red oil, cold water, and charcoal in the general market. Yuku says her business has helped her improve her family life. Yuku went to school up to 12th grade.

To continue in business, she requested a loan with BRAC Liberia. The loan will be used to buy more red oil, cold water, and charcoal to sell and generate profits that will be used to improve her standard of living.

Yuku says she has not faced any problems since she started selling. She sells from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. She started this business with her husband's savings and learned the trade from her mother. She likes her business because it makes her proud.

In the future she would like to be come an international businesswoman. She says thanks for your support.
