Matilda's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for the university expenses for her children, so they will have more possibilities for a better life.

Matilda's story

Matilda is 43 years old and has two children, 20 and 18. Her focus has been on activities such as agriculture (dried beans, wheat and corn), livestock (dairy cows and goats), raw honey (ten bee hives), and also arboriculture (plums and cherry trees). She is a very hard worker according to the villagers' comments about her. She sells the products to dairy farms, at the local farmers' market, and to the wholesale buyers/sellers.

This is the second time that Matilda is asking for a Kiva loan. Thanks to Kiva lenders' previous support, she was able to buy goats to sell milk and some homemade cheese, as well as baby goats twice per year. She is very happy because her family incomes have increased significantly.

However, it has been very difficult for her to cover all university expenses for her two children. This is why she is asking for your support one more time. She really hopes that her children will have a proper education and will have many more possibilities in their lives.
