These 3 women live in the same village and belong to a banc villageois that was created in April 2008. They share the same values and help each other.

Standing on the right is Mrs. Adjia Sounkar, the group's representative. She is a 45-year-old married mother to 5 children, 2 girls and 3 boys. Adjia Sounkar has been selling juice and ice for 5 years. She usually conducts her sales not too far in Guinea-Bissau. She plans to use this loan to buy 1 sack of sugar, 1 bowlful of bissap and 1 bag of baobab fruit.

Her profits will help her to provide for herself and her children and to bolster her savings.
