Teresa De Jesus's story

Teresa, 66, is a single mother with five children and she lives with one of her daughters and grandchildren in a village in Nueva Frontera, Santa Barbara. For ten years she has been growing coffee, corn and beans which she sells at the local market. She used to sell plastic products.

She is applying for a loan in the amount of 30,000 HNL to invest in the purchase of fertilizer and to clean her coffee plantation. With this technical process she hopes to achieve better production.

Her goal for the future is to buy two dairy cows to sell dairy products and earn extra income.
