Lovelie's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more pepper and bitter balls to sell.

Lovelie's story

Lovelie is 34 years old. She is a single mother with one child age 15 years old. Lovelie's lives at home while attending school.

Lovelie is a high school graduate. She runs a business as a main source of income, where she sells pepper and bitter balls (an eggplant-like vegetable). This is a business she has managed for 5 years, and she considers herself as a hardworking business woman.

She started to sell with her own money. She faces no problems with her sales. Lovelie uses a car to transport supplies to her business site. She sells 6 days per week and 10 hours per day.

To have more goods, she applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva field partner. With this loan, she will buy more pepper and bitter balls to sell to her good clients. She likes her business because it brings in fast profits and it also helps to support her child.

In the future, she wants to build houses. She wishes to say thanks.
