Pa Khoang 43 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy baby fish.

Pa Khoang 43 Group's story

Mrs. Kien is a 33-year-old Thai ethnic woman who is married and has two children aged 12 and 10 years.

She lives with her husband and her children in a Thai traditional stilt house in a poor and remote village of Dien Bien province where agriculture is the main income-generating activity of the locals.

Like other villagers, Mrs. Kien works very hard at farming and breeding with several activities such as growing rice, peach tree, arrowroot, vegetables, raising poultry, fish and buffalo to provide for her children and to send them to school.

This is the second time she has taken out a loan from the Anh Chi Em program to buy baby fish. She hopes that those fish will grow up fast and healthily. She plans to use the profit to buy fertilizer for her farming.

Mrs. Kien dreams that she could provide her children with a more abundant life with better living conditions and better education so that they will have a brighter life.
