Anjela's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to purchase a solar light and gain access to cost efficient hybrid seeds and fertilizer for maize cultivation.
Anjela's Group's story
Anjela, pictured above, has 2 children and is always described as a very reliable person, which is why she was selected to become the group leader of her group. Anjela is representing her group of 8 farmers in Kimilili District and is happy to be working with One Acre Fund for the first time this year. Anjela has been a farmer for 4 years and, in order to have access to the best seed prices, she decided to join the One Acre Fund program this season. Her loan will not only include farming inputs but also a solar light, which she is very happy to be getting as that means she will now have light during the night and have somewhere to charge her phone. With the profits from this coming season, Anjela is planning to buy a goat. A total of 5.75 acres will be planted by Anjela's Group, and between them they will receive a total of 4 solar lights.
