Toneah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more locks, nails, wires, hasps, staples and other hardware for her store.

Toneah's story

Toneah is a 34-year-old businesswoman. She has 3 children, aged 8 through 17 and lives with her partner. She attended school up to 12th grade. Her partner is a businessman.

Toneah deals in a business which sells hardware such as locks, nails, wires, hasps and staples, and other materials. She started the business with her own savings and learned the trade from her mother. She has operated this business for 6 years without any problems. She describes herself as a very hardworking business woman that runs her business from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. She likes her business because it is profitable and also helps her take good care of her family.

To improve her business, Toneah requested for a loan with BRAC Liberia. The loan will be used to buy more locks, nails, wires, hasps and staples, and other hardware to resell.

In the future she would like to build a house and continue educating her children.

She says thanks for your support.
