Belen Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase wholesale clothing.

Belen Group's story

The communal bank Belen will begin the first cycle in Pro Mujer as part of the Copacabana Community Center. It is made up of eight members and is run by a board of directors, of which Maria is the president.

The loan that they will receive will benefit small businesswomen, and Maria is one of them. She currently has a business of selling clothing. She says that she learned this business through her own initiative several years ago.

The loan that she will now receive will be an increase of capital for the purchase of wholesale clothing, which she will acquire from the wholesalers in the city of La Paz. She will then sell it at her retail space. This type of work allows her to generate resources to support her family financially since she is single and has three children.
