Fadia's story

She is a 41-year-old virtuous woman named Fadia, a Palestinian woman married to an active man working in a company with limited income. She has 4 children, her young son at school and the eldest works abroad to help with the expenses. She lives with her modest family in an owned apartment located in Bekaa. She established her business 4 years ago in a rented store and started selling canned food and candies to improve her standards of living.

For the first time, Fadia is asking for a loan from IBDAA a Kiva partner. She requested this loan to purchase a new set of canned food, detergents and other additional products in order to stock up her general store, attract more customers and gain large profits. She plans to expand her business gradually in the future to secure a good life for her family.

Fadia is an ambitious and loyal woman who is planning a future full of successes. She is a lady of good reputation among people. Fadia hopes to continue to improve her store little by little in the future.
