Sabas's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy seed potatoes, foliar spray, chicken droppings, manure and pay for labor.

Sabas's story

Sabas is 36 years old and is in a common-law relationship. He has four children. He lives with his wife and children in an indigenous community in Intibucá municipality. He makes a living growing and selling potatoes. He has been doing this for 20 years, work that he learned from his father. Sabas grows excellent quality potatoes on his own land and distributes them to middlemen in the area.

He is requesting a loan of 10,000 Lempiras to purchase seed potato, foliar spray, chicken droppings, manure and to pay for labor. In this way he will increase his production and have greater economic stability with the income he obtains. His goals are to provide his children with education, remodel his house and have more income to cover his family's needs.
