Silaji's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay school fees for his children.

Silaji's story

Silaji, 40 years old, is a resident of Jinja. He is married with five children who are school-going. He is a motorcyclist in the Jinja outskirts, a business he started five years ago to give his children a decent living.

Silaji started as a hired motorcyclist but his salary was insufficient to meet all his financial needs. With a dream of being self employed, he saved and managed to buy a used motorcycle. Ever since then, his income has increased and he is able to support his family. However, his motorcycle recently got mechanical issues and he used most of his savings to repair it, yet school time has resumed.

He has therefore applied for a loan of UGX 2,500,000 to pay his children's school fees so that they report back to school in time to avoid any backlogs. Silaji is grateful for the support that will keep his children in school.
