Ngatté's Group's story

This group is comprised of 30 women, who are members of a banc villageois which has existed since March 2013. These women live in the same village and have good relationships. Their primary activities are agriculture and small business.

Madam Rokhaya, aged 41, is the representative. She is standing on the right with her hand raised. She is married and the mother of 5 children, including 2 girls. All of her children attend school. Madam Rokhaya has managed a small cloth business for several years. She always stocks up at the central market of the city and sells her goods in her area and the surrounding villages.

With this loan, Madam Rokhaya will buy 5 lengths of wax-printed fabric (12 meters), 2 lengths of sheer fabric (30 meters), 2 lengths of khartoum (30 meters), 3 kilograms of tulle, and 3 kilograms of lace. She hopes to receive good returns. The profits obtained from them will be saved to develop her business to allow it to prosper and used to support her family, in particular the school fees of her children.
