A loan helped to purchase bulls.

Grace's story

Grace is a married woman with six children, three of which attend school. She is a prominent farmer in Kyotera, majoring in cattle keeping.

Her income is from milk sales and the cattle trade. This has been her source of income for many years, and it has sustained her family as well as educated her children.

She has enough experience in this line of business, and she is a mentor to many farmers in her community. She has plans to diversify the breed of her cattle, but the inadequate capital has been a challenge to her.

She has approached UGAFODE for a loan of UGX 5,000,000 to buy bulls of good breeds so that she diversifies her cattle quality.

She is confident that her farm will be filled with high-breed cows, which will attract buyers as well as increase milk production.

Grace sends her gratitude to the funders for their generous support that will boost her business and bring about economic transformation. However, the high cost of vet drugs is a major challenge to her and other farmers at large.
