Timire Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a batch of 100 birds and feed.

Timire Group's story

Rubatsiro has been able to work on herself since she started a poultry project at her home in Chitungwiza and she has become well-known by canteen operators for supplying big birds.

Rubatsiro keep broilers at her home, in batches of 50 birds, since her capital is not yet sufficient to restock more birds, like 100 at one time.

Despite the economic mayhem that has hit the country and the crisis that hit broiler producers, Rubatsiro continued her business as usual, a clear sign that she is someone who can be relied upon, even in crisis situations.

Rubatsiro is a 47-year-old mother of five children. Her husband is a pensioner who is helping his wife to feed and take care of their broilers until their sixth week.

She is a member of Timire Group, a vernacular name that means ‘we stand.’ Rubatsiro used her loan to buy a batch of 100 birds and feed for six weeks.
