Fredy's story

Fredy is a dynamic and hard-working client, who lives in the city of Pucallpa in the Ucayali region. She is 58 years old and the mother of four grown-up children. She has a general store in her house that she runs during the day and during the night she sells food. She receives help from her husband who is an electrician. Fredy has been part of the Communal Bank “Las Solteritas” for two years, and her first loan of 300 soles allowed her to purchase soda. Now, she needs a 1200 sole loan, which will be used in part for items for her general store (rice, sugar, pasta, and soda) and in part for wood to enlarge her business (infrastructure) to provide her clients better service.
