A loan helped to buy three cows in order to increase her livestock headcount.

Burul's story

Burul is 33 years old and is married, with five school-age daughters. She has a higher education. She has been raising livestock and growing crops since 2005, and that is her family's main source of income. Thanks to Burul's hard work and her husband's help with the farm, it now consists of three cows and 15 sheep, as well as a 0.8-hectare plot of land on which she grows beans.

To further develop her farm, Burul has applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 150,000 som (KGS), to buy three cows in order to increase her livestock headcount. The income from the loan will help Burul to provide her daughters with a high-quality education.
