Kangne's Group's story

This group was created in January 2017 and consists of 10 members who all live in the same village and get along very well with one another. Their main activities are livestock fattening and retail business.

Kangne, the group's representative, is 50 years old. In the photo she is the woman standing on the right-hand side and raising her hand. She is married and the mother of four children. She buys groundnut at weekly markets and resells her merchandise after shelling.

Kangne will use her loan to buy 950 kilos of groundnut (each kilo costing 210 francs). She will resell her merchandise and make a nice income. With her profits she will be able to pay her children's school fees and will continue her activity.
