Girlie's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase groceries and bottled drinks to sell in her sari-sari store.

Girlie's story

Girlie is a 47-year-old married woman and the mother of four children. She lives in the village of Calabayan, Ozamiz City in the province of Misamis Occidental with her husband, who works as a farmer.

Girlie makes her living through her sari-sari retail store business, where she sells a variety of groceries, bottled drinks, and home-use products. Through this business, Girlie earns enough income to meet the family's daily expenses.

Girlie joined GDMPC to gain financial access. She successfully repaid her previous loan; however, she still needs additional capital for her business. Recently, Girlie requested a new loan of 20,000 PHP to purchase groceries and bottled drinks to sell. To expand her business, Girlie also plans to sell rice and animal feed.

As of now, Girlie is able to save the additional revenue generated from her retail store, and she looks forward to improving living conditions for her entire family.
