Khady's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy kitchen utensils for resale.
Khady's Group's story
The banc villageois inaugurated in December 2009 takes care of this group of 27 women who live in the same village. They have already repaid several loans and they work in agriculture and small trade. Mrs. Khady who is 36 is the star borrower, she is standing on the right in the photo with her hand raised; she is married and does not have any children. Khady runs a small business selling utensils. She stocks up on plates, dishes and cups at the markets in the big towns and resells her goods locally. With her loan she plans to buy by the dozen, plates, dishes, and cups that she will resell hoping to make a good income. With the profits she will make, she plans to make savings, renew her stock of merchandise, help her family, and provide for her own needs.
