Lourdes's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped Purchase of one dairy cow.

Lourdes's story

Lourdes is 31 years old and has been married for 8 years. She and her husband produce raw milk. They are also farmers who grow corn, onions, and potatoes, as well as alfalfa for their cattle. They have 3 children who attend school 5 kilometers from their home.

They have 4 dairy cows with which they produce milk to sell to a company that manufactures a variety of dairy products. This loan will be used to purchase another cow, and in this way increase their production of milk, which will, in turn, increase their income and improve the quality of life of their family.

Lourdes does not have her own house, but lives in her mother's home, which does not have modern conveniences. Lourdes and her husband dream of having their own home close to the city so that their children can attend school closer to home. Their goal is to one day see all three of their children become professionals. They also want to increase the number of cows that they own.
