Rumaldo's story

Rumaldo is an innovative farmer of 45 years of age. His principal job is to grow banana and cocoa crops in the San Martin-Huarango area in Peru. His family economy is based on the varied crops he manages in his plots.

Rumaldo lives in a country house far from the town. He has two children and he supports them with their education.

Rumaldo, has two hectares of cocoa associated with banana, and every year with the income from the sale of his crop he has been improving his family home.

The loan is required to buy fertilizers and weed his cocoa plantation, so that with the profits he can buy cattle and plant more cocoa.
