Martha Cecilia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped buy chickens to raise and balanced feed.

Martha Cecilia's story

Martha is 35 years old and lives in a town called San Pedro on the north coast of Ecuador. She lives with her two daughters. The first one is 19 years old and is studying at the university while the second one is a little girl who is 7 years old and is in school.

Martha is a single mother and is very enterprising. That has allowed her to move forward despite the adversities of life.

She is raising animals such as chickens and pigs. She also grows fruits that she sells in the market of the city of Ibarra. She has to get up at 4 a.m. to get to the market to sell the fruits and go back home and do her housework.

She needs to buy chickens and balanced feed to raise and sell them since she has seen that there is demand and she has enough space to raise more chickens.

She will be very grateful to Kiva if she is the beneficiary of a loan.
