Daysi Del Carmen's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy merchandise to sell and to renew the legal documents she needs for her shop.

Daysi Del Carmen's story

Daysi, 64, is married, and has no dependent children.
She has had a shop at her house for twenty years.
Her husband helps out when she is not at home.
This is her first Kiva loan. Its purpose is to strengthen her business by investing in more stock: snacks, fizzy drinks, soap, detergent, chlorine, rice, sugar, and cooking oil. Also, part of the loan will go towards renewing legal documents for the shop issued by the town hall or the Treasury.
