A loan helped Grace to add stock in her retail shop.

Grace's story

Grace is a 40-year-old widow with four children, two of whom attend school.

She operates a general store that sells a wide range of items in Mpigi town. Grace started this business with the little savings she had to take care of her children after losing her husband. She has seen the business grow over the years with an increasing clientele.

Grace has a dream of transforming her shop into a wholesale outlet in order to increase her outreach and income. To embark on her dream, she has applied for a loan of 1,500,000 UGX from UGAFODE in order to increase her stock of the most highly demanded items. She believes that she will get there because even a journey of 1000 miles starts with one step. She is confident that the increase in inventory will influence an improvement in her sales, thus facilitating growth and financial transformation. Grace appreciates the funders for the financial support that will boost her business.
